The hiking season is open. The animation team of the Luxembourg youth hostels invites you to the picturesque town of Vianden for the so-called season opening hike.The 20-km guided tour, starting and finishing at Vianden youth hostel, takes you past Vianden castle - one of the most beautiful castles in the world - and the ‘SEO’ - the pump storage power station in Vianden - among other sights.

This day hike is a full-day activity and is classified as difficult. The hike is suitable for experienced hikers who can walk at an average pace of 4 km per hour and are used to difficult terrain.

After the hike, a delicious 3-course dinner awaits the participants as a reward in the ‘Melting Pot’ restaurant of the Vianden youth hostel.
